When my fraternal
twin girls were around eleven months old, they were sitting in their superyard,
playing with toys on the foam matting. Poor Emily had had a stomach virus, but
seemed to be doing fine. I went to do something around the house, came by to
check on them about five minutes later, and saw Elise sitting there eating a
small piece of American cheese. I thought to myself, That is strange. I don't remember giving them any cheese in there. Then
I realized that Emily had barfed up the cheese, and Elise was helping herself
to the bits of cheese out of the vomit!
This story is now known by all my friends, and whenever they introduce me to new people I very often get asked to tell them the "cheese story"!
