This is a big year for my twins... they started kindergarten! Overall, it went much better than I expected. As usual with twins, they surprised me by switching roles! The twin I thought would have a hard time adjusting to kindergarten did fantastic, and the one I thought would have no problem has taken longer to adjust. This is also the first year they're in different classes after three years of preschool in the same class. For them, it's been good because they're not distracted by each other (they're very competitive) and they're making new friends. However, it's been harder for me because I have to keep track of two different sets of homework! But despite a few glitches, it's been a successful start to elementary school.

Do Parents of Multiples Have a Higher Divorce Rate?
Surely the stresses of raising a set of sextuplets and a set of twins must have contributed to the breakdown of Jon and Kate Gosselin's marriage, but what about other families with multiples? It's been rumored that parents with twins and more have a higher divorce rate, but preliminary findings issued by Mothers of Supertwins (MOST) from an ongoing survey they've been conducting on "Divorce and the Multiple Birth Family" show a different result.
This adorable story by regular contributor Cheryl Maguire highlights the uniqueness of twin personalities! Her very quotable (and photogenic) twins are pictured below:
