<p>One day, my twin daughters, at around 3 yrs of age, were in the corner of the living room, near my husbands computer. </p>
<p>Melody had hold of the cord or something. </p>
<p>My husband spotted her and said, "Melody, NO!" </p>
<p>She did not respond or drop it.</p>
<p>"Melody, put it down" he said. </p>
<p>She still seemed to be ignoring him. </p>
<p>Finally he said, "Melody, which part of 'NO' do you not understand?" </p>
<p>Just then, her twin sister Jasmine chimed in, "the N... or... the O?"</p>
<p>We all cracked up laughing - even Melody - as she let go of the cord and moved on to some other toddler triumph! <span class='read-more'><a href="http://www.twinstalk.com/forum/just-say-no">Click to read the rest of this entry</a></span></p>

While potty training my b/g twins I would frequently remind my son to push his penis down when sitting on the potty. One day, his sister decided to also remind him and, um, help him. "J, don't forget to push your penis down" As she went to do it for him, I caught her just in time and gently explained that was only for him to do. Luckily, she listened and no longer tries to help in that way ;-)

My twins, especially Emma, calls every bug a "butterfly". Even if the bug is a spider or fly. Both my twins, Abby and Emma, scream at the bug or say, "Get it off". They are just too funny and their facial expressions when seeing some new bug is....PRICELESS!

http://www.twinstalk.com/forum/going-ladybug-school
There was a ladybug on the window of our car today...inside the car! I opened the
window, and he flew onto the other side of the window. He then rode along with
us for a while and then jumped onto the window of a school bus that was sitting
next to us at the light! My four-year-old twins said he must have wanted a ride to "ladybug
school"! <span class='read-more'><a href="http://www.twinstalk.com/forum/going-ladybug-school">Click to read the rest of this entry</a></span>http://www.twinstalk.com/forum/going-ladybug-school#commentsOut of the Mouths of BabesFri, 02 May 2008 16:44:53 -0500Susan Heim238 at http://www.twinstalk.comJust a Wiggle

One of my four-year-old twins was moving his elbow in such a way that it made a "popping" noise. I must have gotten a surprised look on my face, because Caleb reassured me, "Don't worry, Mom. It wasn't a fart. It was just a wiggle!"http://www.twinstalk.com/forum/just-wiggle#commentsOut of the Mouths of BabesWed, 20 Feb 2008 09:15:25 -0600Susan Heim176 at http://www.twinstalk.comThe Meaning of Christmas
http://www.twinstalk.com/forum/meaning-christmas
<p>We were watching <i>Dr.
Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas </i>(the cartoon version, which is my
favorite), and when they got to the part where the narrator said that the
Grinch's heart was two sizes too small, my three-year-old Austen explained,
"That's because he doesn't have Jesus in his heart!" Kids have a lot to teach
us about the true meaning of Christmas! <span class='read-more'><a href="http://www.twinstalk.com/forum/meaning-christmas">Click to read the rest of this entry</a></span></p>

<img src="/files/imagelibrary/IMG_2187.jpg" height="488" width="650" />There are several outdoor playgrounds at my twins' preschool. One morning,
the teacher took my children's class to a playground they hadn't visited before.
My son, Caleb, who loves to discover insects on the other playground, grew very
concerned. With tears in his eyes, he looked up at his teacher and asked
hopefully, "Do they have bugs here, too?"
