My 8 month old twins are not napping on the same schedule anymore. One is catnapping and the other is taking 1-2 hr naps (unless she gets woken up by her brother). Do I just accept the fact that they are different sleepers or try to correct it??

Middle of the Night Wake-Ups
I have boy/girl twins, age 16 weeks, born at 36 weeks gestation. Until 12 weeks, they were sleeping swaddled through the night (asleep around 10pm, awake around 7 am or even later!). I listened to the advice of my baby-nanny, who said that they were old enough to learn how to sleep unswaddled now. Well, they are now waking up at least once in the night, usually around 4 a.m. Sometimes it is just one baby, sometimes one wakes the other. If we offer the bottle, they'll drink about 2 oz., then go back to sleep until about 7 a.m. I want them to sleep through the night like before!! I have begun swaddling them, once again. Is this ok for 16 week olds? Also, should I let one or both 'cry it out', even though it seems as though they disturb the other?
I am going through the exact

Different Nap Schedules
Hi! I know this question is a few months old...I just uncovered a problem that was preventing people from answering! I'm so sorry! Are you still having a problem with this? Although kids do have different sleeping habits, I wouldn't give up on getting your son to take better naps like his sister. Have you tried putting them down in separate rooms? Establishing a ritual for naptime? Unfortunately, this is one of the biggest challenges that parents of twins face...getting them both to sleep at the same time! It's often a matter of trial and error.

Nap routines
What sort of routines do you do before naptime? We have the evenings planned out with books, massage, bath, etc. I guess we could always read the same book or something like that? My twins are also eight months.
Thanks.
Naptime routines
Routines before naptime might include a storytime, cozying up on the couch to watch a calming video, having a (nonsugary) snack, listening to music, and so on . . . just something soothing that the kids will look forward to and then associate with taking a nap afterward.
